What should I be doing this month? 1. SAT/ACT/Compass You should practice for and register to take the College Entrance Exam of your choice. Come by to see me in the counseling center for information on how to do this. 2. Career????? What do I want to be when I grow up? If you do not have the answer to this question yet you need to set up an appointment with me in the counseling center to do some research on careers. You at LEAST need to have a field of interest or a direction at this point. 3. College Choice Depending on your career field you need to narrow down your college interests to 5 and then go to those colleges for a visit. You get 2 days as red x days to go to colleges so go.... see what they have for you. 4. Money, Money, Money....How am I going to pay for College? Right now you need to focus on national scholarship opportunities. Google scholarships... narrow down your search with your specific information (career field, ethnic group, gender etc...)
